about me

I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field. I provide individual therapy to adults and have worked in both the public mental health system and private practice, where I have been practicing for the past eight years.  I hold a Bachelor of Health Science with a specialization in Addictions Counselling, a Bachelor of Social Work, and a Master of Social Work in clinical practice.

My clinical work focuses on forensic therapy, addictive behaviours, problematic substance use, and complex trauma.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a published researcher and have presented at conferences across North America. I currently serve as a board member with the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Centre (PILSC), supporting their work with families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.

I draw from several evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EFT, IFS,  and attachment theory. I am trained in EMDR and ART for the treatment of trauma. I have also completed Yoga Teacher Training and integrate mindfulness and nervous system regulation into my practice
